<p>In this article, I will share with you three diabetic food recipes for dessert that will surely brighten up your days and your meal hour especially when you have loved dessert ever since you were a kid.</p>
<p><strong>1. Fresh Peach Brulee</strong></p>
<p>This recipe is filled with vitamins and nutrients that you need for diet. You will need two large and fresh peaches, two tablespoons fresh lemon juice, cooking spray, and 2 teaspoons light brown sugar. What you need to do after lining a small baking pan with aluminum foil is to peel and halve the peaches. Then coat all sides of the peaches with cooking spray before sprinkling some lemon juice. </p>
<p>Place these on the baking pan, with the cavity side up, then sprinkle with 1 teaspoon brown sugar around every peach&#8217;s top. Broil for about two minutes until sugar caramelizes and begins to glaze the peach.</p>
<p>This non-fat and cholesterol-free recipe yields 47 calories, 1 g protein, 12g carbohydrates, 1 g dietary fiber, and only 2mg sodium.</p>
<p><strong>2. Banana Chocolate Parfaits</strong></p>
<p>Using only low-fat yogurt, low fat frozen dairy whipped topping, sugar-free chocolate pudding mix, unsweetened cocoa powder, bananas, fresh lemon juice, and chopped walnuts. You would have to use a blender to combine the yogurt with the pudding mix until the mixture is smooth.</p>
<p>You should then cut each banana into diagonal pieces and sprinkle lemon juice on the pieces. </p>
<p>Place some of these on dessert parfait glasses and then pour the pudding mix on top. You will hen have to add 1 tablespoon whipped topping. Top this off with some cocoa powder, walnuts, and even cherries if you like.</p>
<p><strong>3. Caffe Affogato</strong></p>
<p>Lastly, you can try the Caffe Affogato, which is simply fat-free frozen vanilla ice cream topped with 2 tablespoons of hot espresso. This is non-fat and contains, 73 calories, 16 g carbohydrates, 37 mg sodium and 2 g protein.</p>

<p>Let me guess.  You&#8217;re new to a low fat raw vegan diet and while you love being able to eat pounds and pounds of fruit everyday, you&#8217;re having trouble satisfying your savory tooth at the end of the day.</p>
<p>Well, here are all of my favorite savory raw recipes. And don&#8217;t worry, they are all low fat, salt, spice, and condiment free.</p>
<p>Hope you enjoy&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Ridiculously Delicious Raw Pasta</strong></p>
<p>Ingredients:</p>
<p>2 medium-sized tomatoes<br />
1 Ataulfo (yellow) mango*<br />
Handful of fresh cilantro<br />
2 zucchini or yellow squash, spiralized</p>
<p>*Ataulfo mangoes are much creamier than the more common Kent or Tommy-Atkins varieties (and much tastier, in my opinion).</p>
<p>Directions</p>
<p>Cut the tomatoes into quarters and place into a blender.  Peel and chop the mango into large pieces, close to the size of the tomato quarters.  Place the mango pieces in the blender.  Chop the cilantro and place in the blender.</p>
<p>Lightly pulse. </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t blend it too much or it will get bubbly and yucky.  Pour over the spiralized squash.</p>
<p>I especially like to eat this as a sauce over spiralized zucchini or yellow squash, but you could also use it as a dressing for any greens of your choice.  You could also just eat it on its own as a soup.</p>
<p>The mango-tomato-cilantro combo is just so delicious! <img src='http://oleascupcakes.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><strong>Salty Salt-Free Salsa</strong></p>
<p>Ingredients:</p>
<p>24 ounces cherry or grape tomatoes (sweetest you can find)<br />
16 ounces of celery (4-6 stalks)<br />
8 ounces red bell pepper (1 pepper)<br />
4 ounces sweet apple (Gala or Fuji, 1/2 apple)<br />
1 handful cilantro<br />
1 English cucumber, sliced diagonally*</p>
<p>*I prefer the English variety.  They are less watery than traditional cucumbers and have much more flavor.</p>
<p>Directions:</p>
<p>Cut half of the celery, red bell pepper, and all of the apple into medium-sized pieces.  You want each piece about the same size as the tomatoes.  Pulse half of the tomatoes and cilantro with the celery, pepper, and apple chunks.  You want a slightly chunky mixture, not a puree.</p>
<p>Dice the rest of the tomatoes, celery, bell pepper, &amp; cilantro.  Stir blended portion with the diced portion and devour with cucumber slices or any veggie you like.</p>
<p><strong>Not-So-Pretty Pistachio Dressing</strong></p>
<p>Ingredients:</p>
<p>2 medium tomatoes<br />
1 medium cucumber<br />
1 oz pistachios<br />
1 head romaine lettuce</p>
<p>Directions:</p>
<p>Coarsely chop tomatoes, half the cucumber, and pistachios and blend.  Spiralize the other half of the cucumber, chop the lettuce, and mix together with the dressing.  This is a very savory and hearty salad that I love to eat during the winter.</p>
<p>And you&#8217;ll know the reason for the name once you make the recipe. </p>

<p>Here is another text about food recipes and food habits in different nations. In my previous articles I was writing about Polish and German food recipes and eating habits. This time I would like to provide you some information about another European country and its cooking habits. This article will be about food recipes from France. Read this text to the end and I&#8217;m sure that it will provide you some additional information. Maybe you will get some new information that you didn&#8217;t know before.</p>
<p>There are three main dishes in France. First of them is breakfast that consist of French loaf or croissant with jam. The next breakfast ingredient is coffee or chocolate in which we can put the loaf. French people also like drinking orange juice during breakfasts. The next very important French dish is dinner (people are eating it about 2 o&#8217;clock P.M). There are many dishes during French dinner. </p>
<p>French people are eating appetizers, than there is main dish, cheese, dessert and coffee. Soups in France are not so important and people don&#8217;t eat them a lot. There are many restaurants in France and the most popular products are cheese and wine.</p>
<p>There are many opinions that French cooking is the best in the world. It influenced cooking in other countries very much (especially from the west Europe). People think that French cooking is connected with frog legs, slugs, French loaf, cheese and wine. But in fact French cooking isn&#8217;t uniform. There are many French regions that preffer different food recipes. There are two main kinds of cooking in France. First of them is &#8220;high cooking&#8221; (expensive, traditional dishes prepared by famous cooks). The second kind of cooking is &#8220;new cooking&#8221; (easy and cheap dishes that can be prepared in a short time). </p>
<p>The main rule in French cooking says that ingredients should be fresh and with high quality.</p>

<p>We often become hesitant to go on a &#8220;diet&#8221; because we assume that we&#8217;ll be hungry or cringe during every meal. The real problem is that we perceive weight loss the wrong way. Weight loss shouldn&#8217;t be about simply losing weight. It should be about changing our eating habits-forever.</p>
<p>Sticking to a raw diet is easier than standard diets. That&#8217;s because you can buy everything you need from your local supermarket, farmer&#8217;s market, and so on. And, you&#8217;d probably be surprised at how many raw food diet recipes are available. This makes it easy to prepare healthy and flavorful meals for your family or when you have guests.</p>

-1 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced<br />

-Wash arugula, strawberries and blackberries/cranberries and set aside to dry.<br />

<p>Ingredients:<br />
-1/2 cup flax seeds<br />
-1/2 cup flax meal<br />
-6 medium tomatoes<br />
-1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked 2 hours or more<br />
-1 tablespoon lemon juice<br />
-1/4 cup fresh basil<br />
-3 tablespoons dried Italian herb mix<br />
-3 medium onions<br />
-1 clove garlic<br />
Grind all ingredients in a food processor<br />
Spread evenly and thinly over 2 Paraflexx dehydrator trays, right to the edges and then use a knife or spatula to score into individual squares .<br />
Dehydrate at 105 degrees for 3 hours then invert onto another mesh dehydrator tray to finish drying in the dehydrator for a further 10 18 hours.</p>
<p>Pine Nut Cheese Spread<br />
Ingredients</p>
<p>-1/2 cup pine nuts<br />
-1/2 cup macadamias<br />
-2 teaspoons lemon juice<br />
-1/4 teaspoon salt<br />
-2 teaspoons nutritional yeast<br />
-1/4 cup water<br />
Grind all ingredients in a food processor.</p>
<p>Tomato Sauce<br />
-4 medium tomatoes, de-seeded<br />
-1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked 2 hours or more<br />
-1 soft date<br />
-1 clove garlic<br />
-2 teaspoons olive oil<br />
-1 tablespoon fresh basil<br />
-1 tablespoon dried oregano<br />
-2 teaspoons lemon juice<br />
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.</p>
<p>Pesto<br />
-2 cups basil, tightly packed<br />
-1 tablespoon minced rosemary<br />
-1/4c pine nuts<br />
-1T olive oil<br />
-1/4t salt<br />
-2t lemon juice<br />
Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until broken down, but leaving some texture to the finished pesto.</p>
<p>Assembly<br />
Start with the flax cracker as a base to which youll add a layer of the nut cheese spread.<br />
Next comes the tomato sauce and then top off with some pesto.<br />
Garnish with olives, capers and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.</p>
<p>Variation: This recipe works great using marinated whole mushrooms as a base instead of flax crackers.</p>
<p>Marinate 12 mushrooms in 1/4c tamari and 1/4c olive oil for 2 hours or more.<br />
Fill the mushroom caps with the nut cheese, tomato sauce and pesto. Going heavier on the amount of pesto works really nicely with mushrooms.<br />
Once the mushrooms are stuffed, place in the dehydrator at 105 degrees F to warm through 1 &#8211; 2 hours.<br />
